FIRETEX® Top SB

Solvent-based PVC-AY topcoat for fire protection coatings

FIRETEX® Top SB (RAL colors) and FIRETEX® Top SB EG (DB colors) are thick-layer, 1-component topcoats for FIRETEX®, Unitherm® and Pyroplast® fire protection coatings to protect against moisture and mechanical stress. They do not affect the formation of a heat-insulating layer of the underlying fire protection coating under the influence of heat.

No impairment of the foaming of fire protection systems
Can be used on all FIRETEX®, Unitherm® and Pyroplast® steel fire protection systems
Achieves Type X classification (outdoor weathering) as part of the coating system
Easy to process, non-static
Flexible colour design through colours in RAL and DB, others on request

OVERVIEW

Recommended application area

FIRETEX® Top SB and FIRETEX® Top SB EG are used as topcoats on fire-protected steel and concrete components to protect against weathering and for color design.

Note: In the case of critical loads, e.g. frequent condensation or heating of surfaces > + 45°C, special measures may need to be taken. In permanently dry rooms, the top coat can be omitted unless a decorative finish is desired.
